Only updated drivers I could get to work were modified ones from leshcatlabs. ACPI points to it being something to do with Advanced power settings of some form anyway. Did you install the chipset driver?

I am just going to leave well enough alone and stay with Windows 7 x86 for now on. I’d suggest rne0100 the previous device drivers in the Compatibility Wizard.

So I just did another clean install of Windows 7 and went back to the original 32 bit install. If not have you tried acerr the battery software off the cd in Compatibility mode?
